We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN basis at our Douglas Vascular OBL. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring professional with vascular experience, who thrives in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting, ensuring all treatments are performed in accordance with established protocols and policies.
- Conduct patient assessments, document medical histories, and develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring for patient reactions and side effects.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and administrative staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
What we want to see from you:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience in a vascular outpatient or similar setting is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient interactions and collaborative team environments.
- Strong organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
