SkillBridge Academy is seeking a highly organized and articulate Public Relations Assistant to support our communications and partnership initiatives. This role will work closely with the Public Relations team to enhance brand visibility, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and assist in delivering consistent, high-quality communication across internal and external platforms. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while maintaining absolute professionalism.
Responsibilities
Assist in drafting press materials, communications, statements, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, events, and PR-related activities.
Support media outreach efforts, maintaining updated records of contacts and opportunities.
Monitor public sentiment, industry updates, and engagement to identify communication trends.
Ensure brand messaging aligns with institutional goals and organizational standards.
Prepare briefing documents, reports, and summaries for leadership and project teams.
Collaborate with internal departments to support strategic communication initiatives.
Assist in the planning and execution of community programs, campaigns, and institutional events.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and polished tone.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and fast-paced workflows.
Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
