This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled Modern Workplace Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Intune and related technologies to join our IT team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing modern workplace solutions that enhance user experience, security, and operational efficiency across our and client organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy Intune-based device management solutions for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Configure and manage Intune policies including device compliance, conditional access, endpoint protection, and application deployment.
• Configure and lead Intune Autopilot provisioning and lifecycle management of endpoints.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement modern security practices including Defender for Endpoint, BitLocker, and Windows Hello for Business.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to streamline operations and improve scalability.
• Provide Level 3 support and act as SME for Intune and endpoint management.
• Document technical procedures, SOPs, and best practices for internal use and training.
• Monitor and optimize endpoint performance, compliance, and user experience.
• Stay current with Microsoft roadmap and evaluate new features for implementation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Device Compliance Rate: Maintain ≥ 95% compliance across managed devices.
• Autopilot Deployment Success Rate: Achieve ≥ 98% success rate for Autopilot provisioning.
• Policy Deployment Time: Implement new Intune policies within 48 hours of approval.
• Incident Resolution Time: Resolve Level 3 endpoint-related incidents within SLA (e.g., ≤ 8 hours).
• User Satisfaction Score: Maintain ≥ 90% satisfaction in end-user feedback surveys.
• Automation Coverage: Automate ≥ 75% of recurring endpoint management tasks.
• Security Baseline Adherence: Ensure 100% alignment with defined security baselines.
• Patch Compliance: Achieve ≥ 95% patch compliance within 7 days of release.
• Documentation Accuracy: Maintain up-to-date documentation with quarterly reviews.
• Training & Enablement: Conduct at least 2 internal training sessions per quarter.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Entra ID.
  
• Strong knowledge of MDM/MAM policies, Autopilot, and device configuration profiles.
  
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API.
  
• Experience with Windows OS, macOS, and mobile platforms.
  
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and cloud migrations.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, MS-102, or Modern Work Administrator Expert.
  
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and/or Windows 365.
  
• Exposure to ITIL processes and enterprise IT operations.
