Position Overview As an IT Manager, you will oversee the organization's information technology operations, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across all systems, infrastructure, and technical services. This role leads the IT team, manages vendor relationships, implements technology initiatives, and aligns IT strategy with business goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader and problem-solver with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.  Top Skills & Qualifications + Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. + Experience: + 10+ years in IT operations, system administration, or network management. + 5+ years in a supervisory or lead role. + Technical Expertise: + Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoint management, and remote support tools. + Extensive experience in both infrastructure and security-related work. + Preferred Certifications/Skills: + Azure, ERP systems experience. + PMP or CompTIA Project+ certification. Key Responsibilities Leadership + Provide strategic direction and coaching to IT personnel. + Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development. + Manage staffing levels and resource allocation for 24/7 support operations. + Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-focused IT culture. Infrastructure & Systems + Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments. + Ensure high availability and optimal performance of critical business systems (ERP, CRM, communication tools). + Manage system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle planning. Security & Compliance + Implement cybersecurity best practices and monitoring tools. + Conduct regular security assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. + Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Service Desk Operations + Monitor ticketing systems and ensure SLAs/KPIs are met. + Act as escalation point for complex issues. + Analyze trends and implement solutions to reduce ticket volume. Project Management + Lead IT projects such as system implementations, network upgrades, and cloud migrations. + Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. + Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners. Preferred - Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with shop-floor systems and IT/OT integration. - Experience with ERP, business applications, and integration technologies is a plus. - Background with Microsoft Azure, Intune, Defender, and cloud-first security architectures. - Prior experience managing ERP systems (Infor, SAP, Epicor, NetSuite, etc.) and supporting cross-functional business processes. - Knowledge of NIST, CMMC, or other security compliance frameworks relevant to defense/manufacturing. - Project management certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CompTIA Project+. - Experience leading or supporting digital transformation initiatives, automation, or modernization projects. - Experience managing multi-site IT operations with distributed teams Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Savannah, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
