Requisition Summary

 

PACCAR has an exciting Human Resources summer internship opening at our global headquarters in Bellevue, WA. The selected candidate will work directly with HR professionals, gaining exposure and experience in multiple HR functions.

 

As a Human Resources Intern you will:

  • Learn first-hand from top industry professionals
  • Work directly with Managers and Senior Managers
  • Develop mentoring relationships with HR leaders
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience
  • Expand your professional network

 

The internship is scheduled to begin in between May or June 2026. 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

 

  • Support organizational development, benefits, engagement, and performance management projects.
  • Lead special HR projects to further the goals of the organization; participate in planning, project development, and problem-solving.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering employee questions related to Benefits, and Compensation.
  • Continuously improve our existing processes
  • Work in PACCAR’s HRIS (SAP) and other HR systems
  • Work in HR compliance through auditing
  • Administer other benefits, compensation, and HR programs as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills

 

  • HR-related coursework or internship experience is preferred but not required
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects desired

Education

 

Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduation program, preferably sophomore, junior or senior standing
