Overview:
The Prep Person plays a key role in keeping Yola’s running smoothly by preparing ingredients, stocking supplies, and supporting the kitchen and café team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, staying organized, and making sure everything is ready for our busy service hours.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients for daily menu items (washing, chopping, slicing, measuring)
Make and portion batters, sauces, and other prep recipes according to café standards
Restock kitchen and service stations throughout the day.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, fridges, and storage
Label, date, and store food properly following food safety guidelines
Assist with dishwashing, sweeping, and other closing or opening duties as needed
Communicate with cooks, baristas, and bakers to ensure smooth workflow
Follow all health and safety regulations

Availability- Monday- Saturday - At least 2-3 days per week
