About Bronxton

Crafting premium, timeless, and classic designs, we blend sophisticated European Old Money style with casual, refined dressy clothing and accessories tailored for the timeless professional man. At Bronxton, we take pride in designing, sourcing, and manufacturing pieces that embody excellence and enduring quality. We're looking for a talented Fashion Designer to infuse fresh creativity into our growing lineup of essential menswear.

Job Summary

As a Fashion Designer at Bronxton, you'll drive the creative vision for our seasonal menswear collections, from concept sketches to refined prototypes. This role focuses on developing cohesive lines that capture our brand's sophisticated yet approachable ethos, ensuring every garment, from tailored shirts to refined button-downs, delivers on style, functionality, and wearability. Collaborating with our production, merchandising, and sales teams, you'll help translate market insights into designs that resonate with our discerning male clientele. If you excel in a collaborative, innovative studio and have a passion for menswear, join us to shape the future of Bronxton's wardrobe staples.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough trend research, curate mood boards, and draw inspiration from cultural, lifestyle, and industry sources to define collection themes aligned with Bronxton's elegant menswear aesthetic.
  • Create original sketches and technical flats (using Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D, or similar) for 20 to 30 pieces per season, emphasizing silhouettes, textures, and details for casual dressy and dressy categories.
  • Source and swatch fabrics, trims, and materials that prioritize durability, comfort, and performance (e.g., breathable cottons, premium wools), while considering cost efficiency and ethical sourcing.
  • Partner with pattern makers and product developers worldwide to produce prototypes, lead fit sessions, and refine designs for optimal fit, movement, and manufacturability across men's sizing.
  • Develop detailed tech packs, line sheets, and look books for stakeholder reviews and sales presentations, incorporating production timelines and cost analyses.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary meetings with merchandising, marketing, and retail teams to integrate sales performance data, customer feedback, and commercial trends into design decisions.
  • Support special initiatives, such as limited-edition capsules or accessory integrations (e.g., cologne-inspired scents), and monitor advancements in menswear innovation.
  • Organize and maintain a design resource library and personal portfolio to track and showcase your contributions.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Menswear Design, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of hands-on experience in fashion design, with a focus on menswear or ready-to-wear apparel.
  • Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop) and 3D visualization software (e.g., CLO or Browzwear).
  • Knowledge of garment construction, basic patternmaking, and textile properties suited to men's casual dressy and formal wear.
  • Outstanding sketching abilities, backed by a portfolio featuring cohesive menswear collections in an elevated, versatile style.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork in a fast-paced, goal-oriented setting.
  • Enthusiasm for quality-driven menswear and familiarity with sustainable or premium materials.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • Experience with premium fabrics for dressy casual designs.
  • Background in merchandising, product development, or retail trend analysis.
  • Exposure to forecasting platforms (e.g., WGSN) and participation in menswear trade events worldwide.
  • U.S Passport/Green Card

What we offer

  • Full benefits including medical, dental, vision and ample PTO (20 days plus holidays).
  • Stipend for professional growth, such as workshops, fabric and manufacturing sourcing trips, or tool subscriptions.
  • Perks like employee discounts.
  • Visibility for your work through e-commerce features, in-store displays, and branded campaigns.

Bronxton is an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds in the fashion industry.

How To Apply

Submit your resume, a cover letter outlining your approach to menswear design, and a digital portfolio (PDF or link). We'll review submissions ongoing and respond within two weeks.
