**Job Title: Drain & Sewer Rodding Technician** **Pay: $21-$35/Hr + Commission** **Location: Chicago and surrounding suburbs** **** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Drain & Sewer Rodding Technician to join our growing plumbing division. This role focuses on diagnosing and clearing drain blockages, performing sewer rodding, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and light commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and excellent customer service abilities. **Responsibilities** + Perform drain cleaning and sewer rodding using mechanical and hydro-jetting equipment. + Diagnose and resolve clogged drains, sewer backups, and related plumbing issues. + Maintain plumbing systems and recommend improvements where needed. + Locate pipe positions, connections, and passage holes using appropriate tools. + Repair and maintain plumbing systems by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and clearing blockages. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes, including ADA requirements. + Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients. + Keep tools and equipment operational by following manufacturer guidelines. **Essential Skills** + Experience in plumbing, service plumbing, drain and sewer rodding. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in construction environments. + Strong commitment to safety practices. + Excellent customer service abilities. **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive pay structure with commission opportunities, a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
