Detailer/Porters are responsible for ensuring that vehicles are cleaned and maintained to meet company standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and clean vehicles, including the exterior and interior, using appropriate cleaning tools and products
- Vacuum, shampoo, and steam clean carpets and upholstery
- Polish and wax the exterior of vehicles to maintain a high level of shine
- Inspect vehicles for any damage or imperfections and report any issues to management
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly stocked with necessary supplies, such as air fresheners and floor mats
- Move vehicles to designated parking areas or service bays as needed
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management, such as assisting customers with loading and unloading vehicles
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in detailing or car washing preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools, such as power washers and steam cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
This role is a physically demanding job that requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects. Detailer/Porters must also be comfortable working in outdoor conditions and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
