Position Summary: The Estimator will play a crucial role in our company's success by accurately estimating the cost of commercial roofing projects. This position requires a strong understanding of roofing materials, construction techniques, and project management principles.

Responsibilities:

• Project Evaluation: Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to determine scope of work and material requirements.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial roofing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Bid Preparation: Assemble comprehensive bid packages, including cost estimates, project schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Client Presentations: Present bid proposals to clients, explaining the scope of work, cost estimates, and project timeline.
• Contract Negotiation: Participate in contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Project Management Support: Provide support to project managers during the construction phase, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the commercial roofing industry.
• Strong understanding of roofing materials, construction techniques, and project management principles.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
